In September of 2025, the Pierced Poets’ flagship venue – the Cleveland Masonic – was shuttered suddenly (along with several other venues around the country) by the venue’s national ownership. Left scrambling to find a new Home & opportunities plentiful enough to keep a 2,500 cap venue’s team active, the Poets developed an entirely new layer of resilience and a defiant resolve to persist. Though we miss the Temple very much, we remain hopeful in the possibility of returning someday under new ownership – and in finding more incredible new partners in the meantime.
